What is super dreadnoughts?

Super dreadnoughts were battleships developed in the early 20th century, designed to be larger and more heavily armed than previous battleships. They were a response to advances in naval technology, particularly the introduction of the "all-big-gun" battleship concept.

The first super dreadnoughts were the British HMS Dreadnought and the American USS South Carolina, both launched in 1906. They were larger and more powerful than any previous battleship, with main batteries consisting entirely of large-caliber (usually 12-inch or larger) guns.

Super dreadnoughts continued to be built in the years leading up to World War I, with many countries adopting the new design. They were used extensively during the war, with notable battles including the Battle of Jutland in 1916.

By the end of World War I, the development of super dreadnoughts had all but ceased, as the concept was seen as outdated and impractical. However, the lessons learned from their design and construction helped to shape naval warfare in the decades to come.
